High-rate Concentration Equipment Coarse and Fine Gold Centrifugal Concentrator

Centrifugal concentrator (centrifugal separator) is a kind of high efficiency gravity concentrating equipment. High-speed rotation generates very strong centrifugal force to intensify gravity separation which makes more effective recovery of the fine heavies.
The above picture shows the working principle. The separating part of the centrifugal concentrator is a frustum consisting of a outer shell and inner wall. The outer shell and inner wall construct a closed water chamber. The inner wall is named as the enriching cone which has a series of parallel annular groove and lots of small flushing water holes (fluidization holes).
During the enriching cone rotates, the strong centrifugal force will greatly enlarge the gravity difference of minerals, so a good separation effect can be obtained. Slurry is fed onto the bottom of the enriching cone through the centre well, the light particles and water move upward along the inner surface of the enriching cone and are discharged out of the cone as tailings. The heavy particles are captured in a series of riffles (grooves) as concentrate. Due to continuous flushing water enters inside of the inner wall of the enriching cone though the small holes, the heavy minerals bed is fluidized. Under the interaction of fluidization water and interference settlement, heavy minerals bed can be kept loose continuously.
The working mode of centrifugal concentrator is semi continuous. After the enriching cone works for a period of time, the concentrate is unloaded out of the grooves by rinsing water and flows down out of the bottom of the enriching cone.

The centrifugal concentrators are divided into three product categories: basic type (BLX), semi-automatic type (SLX) and automatic type (ALX) to meet the demands of different customers. All of them can achieve the optimal gold recovery target.

The rotation speed of the enriching cone can be adjusted by VFD to achieve the optimal running effect.
Excellent recovery performance of granular gold. The recovery of 74 microns granular gold is more than 98% and that of 40 microns is more than 97%.
The enrichment ratio is more than 1000, the concentrate yield is small, and the concentrate grade is up to 1000-20000 g/t.
The enriching cone is equipped with high wear-resistant polyurethane core, which has extremely long service life and stable continuous operation rate.
The three types are freely selected by the customers according to the actual requirement. The automatic centrifugal concentrator can reduce the labor intensity, and is easy to maintain and operate.
The high-grade concentrate produced can be used for smelting mixed borax after further enrichment on the concentration table, or also be sent to intensive leaching and electrowinning.


The centrifugal concentrator can be installed in the indoor or outdoor to be operated without any trouble affected by the environment and geographical conditions. It can be used to recover coarse and fine gold in single gravity concentration system, milling system before flotation or cyanide leaching, tailings recovery system, alluvial / placer gold washing system, concentrate enrichment system.
It can also be installed on the trailer to make a mobile concentrator, or combines with pumps, vibrating screen, ball mill and other equipment to form a skid mounted modular processing plant.
